AEW announced on today’s Homecoming episode of AEW Dynamite that an AEW Women’s World Championship match will take place on the debut episode of AEW Rampage.
On the show, Britt Baker was being interviewed by Tony Schiavone when she was interrupted by Red Velvet, who issued the challenge to Baker, citing her 22-4 singles record.
Baker accepted the challenge and told Velvet they will face off on the debut episode of AEW Rampage next Friday in Pittsburgh.
AEW Rampage debuts next Friday, August 13 on TNT.
