After AEW Double Or Nothing, the promotion’s president and CEO Tony Khan revealed the next World Title match will take place at Fyter Fest.
The bout will see Jon Moxley defend the title against Brian Cage, with no date currently announced but more details to be revealed on Dynamite this coming Wednesday.
Cage debuted as the mystery entrant in the Casino Ladder Match, pulling down the chip and winning the title shot. He was accompanied by Taz which looks like it’ll be another mentor/wrestler relationship.
Moxley retained the championship over “The Exalted One” Mr Brodie Lee during Double Or Nothing last night, his second retention since winning the strap from Chris Jericho at Revolution in February.
Khan also revealed that Fyter Fest was originally set to be held in London, England this year, but of course that can no longer happen.
No other matches have currently been confirmed for Fyter Fest, so stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com for future announcements and details when they are confirmed.
