Several weeks ago, AEW announced a tournament to crown the challenger for the AEW World Championship where the finals will take place at Full Gear would take place over the final weeks of October on Dynamite.
The first 6 entrants were announced previously. Fenix, Kenny Omega, Wardlow, Jungle Boy, Colt Cabana and Hangman Page were confirmed for the tournament.
Tonight on AEW: Dynamite, the final two entrants were revealed. Pentagon Jr. and Joey Janela were revealed to be the final two competitors.
Additionally, the brackets were revealed. The tournament starts next week. We’re getting some big first-round matchups.
Here is the bracket

Side 1:
Penta El Zero M vs. Rey Fenix
Kenny Omega vs. Joey Janela
Side 2:
Hangman Page vs. Colt Cabana
Wardlow vs. Jungle Boy
Whoever wins between The Lucha Brothers will most likely face Kenny Omega. This means we’ll get either Penta/Fenix vs. Kenny Omega. Umm, that’s pay-per-view quality right there.
On the other side, it will be Wardlow vs. Jungle Boy. One of those will most likely face Hangman Page. The question will be do we actually get Hangman vs. Kenny Omega at Full Gear or does something screwy happen to allow this feud to continue.
Either way, this tournament has the potential to deliver at least 5 incredible matches. Which match are you looking forward to most? Let us know on Twitter.
