Shhh! Don’t tell anyone, but an AEW wrestler is challenging Nick Aldis this Saturday on Championship Wrestling from Arizona. The Librarian, Peter Avalon plans to bring the NWA World’s Heavyweight Title to AEW.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the NWA Title linked to AEW or, at least, The Elite. Cody Rhodes won the NWA World’s Heavyweight Championship at All In last year.
The NWA is set to begin TV tapings in Atlanta at the end of this month. It’s unlikely that the title will change hands, but you can’t blame either company for using the other for publicities sake. Peter better read up, if he plans on beating the National Treasure this weekend.
