Rumor Killer On Former WWE Star’s AEW Absence WWE/AEW

Clarification has emerged on the contract status of Parker Boudreaux, who hasn’t wrestled for AEW in over a year.

Parker Boudreaux last competed in an AEW ring on the March 3, 2023 Rampage taping, losing to Dustin Rhodes and Keith Lee alongside Swerve Strickland.

With Boudreaux recently making his debut for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, some fans speculated that the former WWE star had quietly finished up with AEW.

Per Fightful Select, this hasn’t been the case.

Fightful Select reports that Parker Boudreaux is still signed to All Elite Wrestling.

The report noted that AEW signed off on Boudreaux’ recent appearance for AAA, with Boudreaux having “at least months” left on his AEW contract.

Boudreaux’ AAA appearance saw him attack Octagon Jr and Mecha Wolf following their AAA Latin American Championship match on March 16. You can read more about his AAA debut right here.

Boudreaux signed with AEW in August 2022, following his time with WWE. He had originally joined WWE in 2021, where he was touted as the next big thing in wrestling by a number of top names including Paul Heyman.

He wrestled on WWE NXT as Harland from December 2021 up until his release in April 2022.

It’s currently unclear when Boudreaux will make a return to AEW TV.
