Having been a fixture in AEW since April 2019, Dustin Rhodes has shot down a pitch for a future return to WWE.
The ROH World Tag Team Champion previously revealed that he signed a multi-year contract with AEW, indicating that he would finish his career with that company.
With a fan reacting to a recent post on Twitter by suggesting Rhodes should return to WWE, the AEW star shot down the idea, stating:
“No! I am happy where I am at.”
In February 2025, Rhodes revealed that he plans to probably retire in the next three years but set the caveat that “things change.”
While Dustin Rhodes may not be seeking a return to WWE, he has been keeping an eye on events involving his brother, Cody Rhodes.
Following WWE Elimination, in which Cody Rhodes was attacked by John Cena, the AEW star sent a warning to those involved.
AEW President Tony Khan recently praised Dustin Rhodes, referring to the star as a “legendary wrestler“.
Along with holding the ROH World Tag Team Championship with Sammy Guevara, Rhodes is also a World Six-Man Tag Team Champion as part of the Sons of Texas.
The Sons of Texas are Marshall Von Erich and Ross Von Erich, Sammy Guevara and Dustin Rhodes, forming in August 2024.
