AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone has addressed the possibility of her making a WWE return, following previous comments.
Ahead of Mone making her AEW debut in March, the former ‘Sasha Banks’ noted that she believed that she’d head back to WWE one day.
Mone has now noted that she’s less certain of this, noting that she currently has the best relationship with AEW.
When asked on the Breakfast Club about the possibility of a WWE return, Mone said:
“After the way that AEW has been treating me, I don’t know. I don’t think so. I feel like I have the best relationship with AEW right now, and it’s legit, I’m living my dreams and it’s the best place I’ve ever been mentally and physically.
“To be able to have new dreams after being in the industry for 14 years, it’s the best feeling in the world, so AEW is my home right now.”
Mone also addressed her WWE departure in May 2022 during this interview, revealing that personal issues with ‘the Chairman’ influenced her decision to leave.
