AEW star Brian Cage has pitched a match for himself at a potential WWE crossover event, ahead of Forbidden Door 2023.
NJPW and AEW stars will face off at the second ever Forbidden Door crossover show in June.
Brian Cage has now taken to Twitter to reveal that he’d want to face a certain WWE star in an interpromotional match.
Wanting to clash with Bobby Lashley once again, Cage tweeted:
If there was a forbidden door like never before, lashley vs Cage ||| at WrestleMania would be it.
Cage and Lashley faced off in singles action twice in early 2018. Cage won both bouts, with aired on the March 29 and April 5 editions of IMPACT respectively.
Lashley has since returned to WWE, where he has held the WWE Championship on two occasions.
AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2023 will air from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada on June 25.
Several top names have teased their involvement with the show, including current IWGP Women’s Champion Mercedes Mone.
