AEW’s MJF Says He Wouldn’t Be Where He Is Today Without WWE Star AEW

AEW World Champion MJF has revealed that he still keeps in touch with a WWE star, stating he wouldn’t be where he is today without them.

Cody Rhodes wrestled a number of stars for the first time during his AEW run, including MJF, with the duo facing off at Revolution 2020.

While Rhodes hasn’t worked for AEW since January 2022, the current AEW World Champion has revealed that he and Cody Rhodes still talk.

When asked if he still keeps in touch with Rhodes, MJF stated on Insight with Chris Van Vliet:

“Absolutely. Look, I’m not sitting here without Cody Rhodes. Cody Rhodes booked me for All In, which got me in front of Tony Khan, which got me signed to a contract.
