AEW’s Santana On Inner Circle Parting Ways

AEW’s Santana On Inner Circle Parting Ways

While they’ve been involved in some epic matches and feuds together already, could we soon see the members of the Inner Circle go their separate ways?

Recently, Stephanie Chase sat down with AEW stars, Santana and Ortiz and discussed among other things, the future of the Inner Circle.

Santana reflected on the achievements of the group, but also adding:

“We had done so much and we were, we had proven to be very successful at being the group and the group, I just felt like it was time for all of us, you know, to go our separate ways and start establishing our own selves and whatever we’ll continue doing and stuff like that. And then maybe eventually down the line we could bring it back together for a major moment and, you know, rock & roll again.”

While proud of the work the Inner Circle has accomplished together, Santana went on to say:

“I always feel like the group is cool, we’ve proven that the group can be successful, but now let’s prove that each of us can be successful on our own. Almost like the Wu-Tang Clan, you know? They were such a great band together, you know, so successful together. When they broke up and went their own separate ways, they all became successful, so I think that was more my mentality.”

With Sammy Guevara vying for the TNT Championship on this week’s Beach Break edition of AEW Dynamite and the return of Chris Jericho, only time will tell what future programs await Santana and Ortiz and they continue to feud with Daniel Garcia and 2point0 both alongside Jericho and fan favorite, Eddie Kingston.
