AEW star Sting has made a big announcement about his future in 2025 ahead of his appearance at Indianapolis WrestleCon this weekend.

Before making an appearance at Indianapolis WrestleCon this weekend, AEW’s Sting has made an important announcement about his future after this coming year.

Taking to social media to share the news, professional wrestling legend Sting made a call to action to fans considering meeting him in 2025.

Sting tweeted:

“I have enjoyed meeting fans at events around the world.

As much as I have loved interacting with you all in the traditional Stinger war paint, I’ve decided that 2025 will be my last year appearing in full gear.

I guess it’s 2025 or never. Wow. Tough to speak that out.”

Sting is scheduled to make an appearance at the upcoming Indianapolis WrestleCon on Friday, January 24 only.

Elsewhere ahead of Indianapolis WrestleCon, some intriguing booking dates might reveal a clue about a potential WWE Royal Rumble surprise entrant. 

Sting continues to be signed to an AEW contract, which he referenced in a recent interview however it is not as a wrestler, rather as a ‘legends deal’ to make appearances and continue to sell merchandise.
