WWE NIL signee AJ Ferrari has been dismissed from Oklahoma State wrestling team.
Ferrari was announced as a signee of the inaugural NIL class for WWE in December 2021.
Per The O’Colly, AJ Ferrari was dismissed from the Oklahoma State wrestling team on Monday with OSU confirming the report to Pistols Firing.
On July 5, a Stillwater woman filed a protective order against Ferrari following a report of sexual assault. Official records have not been released from the report and the investigation is still ongoing.
The Stillwater Police Department announced that their Criminal Investigations Department were investigating the report of sexual assault against Ferrari.
AJ Ferrari was 30-1 in his wrestling career at Oklahoma State. He went 20-1 and won a national championship at 197 pounds in his freshman season.
Ferrari went 10-0 in his sophomore season before suffering internal damage to his shoulder due to a car accident.
WWE has announced that they will be holding their next round of tryouts during SummerSlam weekend at the end of July with a former WWE Champion to take part.
