AJ Mendez (AJ Lee) appears to have addressed rumors about her potential in-ring return after sharing a recent in-ring training video.
Since CM Punk made his WWE return in November, many fans have been calling for his wife AJ Lee to also make a WWE comeback.
With fans pitching for AJ to enter the 2024 Royal Rumble match, the former Divas Champion posted a video of herself training in the ring with CM Punk, fuelling speculation within the fanbase.
While this video featured in a post about AJ’s role on the Heels TV show, this led to rumors swirling regarding AJ wrestling again.
AJ has now shared this video to her Instagram Story with a new caption.
Assuring fans that she’s still retired, she wrote:
bumped for @heelsstarz & @cmpunk and then went back into retirement

AJ hasn’t wrestled since the March 30, 2015 edition of WWE Raw, teaming with Naomi (Trinity) and Paige (Saraya) to defeat Natalya and the Garcia Twins.
WWE announced AJ’s retirement from in-ring competition that April.
CM Punk made his WWE in-ring return at the December 26 Madison Square Garden house show, against Dominik Mysterio. He wrestled Mysterio again on the December 30 show in California.
