AJ Lee recently returned to WWE after more than a decade away, and a former rival has teased that their feud is “never over”.
A recent post on social media saw a celebration of the 11-year anniversary of AJ Lee defeating Paige to recapture the WWE Divas Championship.
The Raw after WrestleMania 30 in April 2014 saw Paige make her main roster debut, defeating Lee and bringing a 295-day reign to an end.
With Paige and AJ Lee continuing to feud for the WWE Divas Championship throughout that year, it would be the recently returned star who would walk away with the title at September’s Night of Champions.
Responding to the social media celebration of their feud, AJ Lee noted that it is “never over“, with the former Paige now responding in a post of her own, stating:
“My fairy god mother, never over 🖤”
Saraya, as she is known to many AEW fans, left that company in March of this year and has gone on to reiterate that she would be open to a WWE return.
Nikki Bella has also since returned to WWE, sharing a hopeful post that her twin sister, Brie, and Paige could also make a comeback.
