An independent wrestler has reacted to recent praise from AJ Lee, with the Women’s Intercontinental Champion saying they should be in WWE.

In a recent interview, AJ Lee heaped praise on Jazmin Allure, noting that Allure deserves to be a WWE star.

While Allure did respond to AJ Lee’s comments on social media at the time, the independent star has now addressed the Women’s Intercontinental Champion’s shoutout, and what it meant to her.

Calling AJ Lee one of the most amazing people in the business, Allure told Simply Reliable Studios:

“That was so incredible, like I said, she didn’t have to do that. She’s champion right now, she’s killing it on TV.

“She has so many projects going on, and the fact that she took a little bit of her time to like put me over and talk so good about me and say that I should be in WWE is incredible.

“She really is like a godmother to me. I love that even throughout the years that I can reach out to her and talk to her. I just saw her this past weekend, it was so good to catch up.

“She’s incredible, she’s such a nice person. She’s truly one of the most amazing people in this business, and it’s just so incredible.”

Jazmin Allure was notably AJ Lee’s stunt double for the wrestling TV series Heels.

The Hurricane Pro Wrestling Women’s Champion and the Ladies Night Out Champion previously wrestled two matches as an enhancement talent for WWE, facing Tamina in July 2022 on Main Event, and Lacey Evans on the January 27, 2023 edition of SmackDown.

She made regular appearances on AEW Dark from 2020 to 2022, and faced Abadon on Collision in December 2023.

Following AJ Lee defeating Becky Lynch for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship at Elimination Chamber, Lynch attacked Lee during the March 16 Raw episode.

The duo appear to be on a collision course for WrestleMania 42, which emanates from Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium on April 18 and 19.
