Former two-time WWE Champion AJ Styles made his NXT in-ring singles debut on last night’s (January 11) episode of NXT 2.0, where he defeated Grayson Waller in the main event.
Following the match, Styles brought out a returning LA Knight, who fought Waller off before posing with Styles to end the show.
After the match, Styles took the microphone, saying that it was a blessing to come down to NXT, and how he remembers his roots being in Florida, but that NXT isn’t one of his shows.
Styles then handed the microphone over to LA Knight, who put over Styles following his win, before telling Grayson Waller that his troubles have only just begun.
