It appears that AJ Styles could be likely to leave WWE before the end of his career if Doc Gallows’ comments are anything to go by.
Gallows and Styles are obviously good friends, so if anyone is going to know anything about Styles’ plans and mindset, Gallows is likely to be among those names.
With that said, on the latest IMPACT Press Pass media call, Gallows said:
“I’ll say this. I don’t know what the schedule is or what kinda surprises IMPACT Wrestling has in store for the Hall of Fame or Bound For Glory. I would be very remiss if I didn’t say that before AJ Styles hangs up the boots, I’m highly confident we’ll see him in an IMPACT Wrestling ring at least one more time.”
Now obviously there are a few things about that quote, the first being that Gallows’ comments may not come from a place of knowledge, but perhaps just guesswork, so it’s not like we know for sure Styles has told him this is true.
And also, it seems to imply a one-off appearance rather than fully leaving WWE for an entire run with IMPACT.
Either way, as noted earlier, the comments are more notable coming from Gallows than they would be coming from most other people due to his relationship with AJ Styles, so maybe it’ll turn out he’s right.
