AJ Styles On Swoggle Parody: ‘If It Makes Money, Go For It’

One of the more lighthearted moments in recent Impact history was when Swoggle parodied AJ Styles. The Good Brothers had promised The Phenomenal One would take on Ethan Page only for Swoggle to appear instead.

Swoggle came out dressed as Styles, calling himself The Weenomenal One. It was a comedy segment designed to further the breakup of The North when Swoggle pinned Page to win.

It has since been reported that Styles did not know about the angle ahead of time. However, he said he enjoyed it. Now, he has opened up about it more in an interview with Bleacher Report, saying if it makes money, go for it. Here is the quote:

“I didn’t see it, but I saw pictures. Hilarious. Good for him. The Weenomenal One is hilarious to me, so if he’s able to make a little money off The Weenomenal One, then go for it.”

AJ Styles also mentioned in the interview that he does not want to leave WWE. He also discussed the recent WWE releases of his former partners Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows.
