AJ Styles & Paul Heyman Have Tense Confrontation After SmackDown

After appearing on last night’s episode of SmackDown on FOX, AJ Styles was one of the special guests on the TalkingSmack episode that dropped on the WWE Network today.

When speaking to Kayla Braxton and Paul Heyman, AJ Styles teased that he may challenge Roman Reigns if he wins the Royal Rumble, despite being a Raw Superstar, just to try and put Paul Heyman out of a job:

“Let’s just say I choose to go after the Universal championship, and I beat Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, and he’s no longer sitting at the head of the table. He’s no longer the alpha. What that means, ultimately, is that you would be out of a job. And nothing would make me happier then to see you out of a job.”

Fans were quick to point out that this is the first time that Paul Heyman and AJ Styles have interacted on-screen since their real-life issues emerged`. It is believed AJ Styles asked to leave Raw last year because of an issue he had with Paul Heyman.
