AJ Styles has reacted to his WWE Royal Rumble return and subsequent elimination at the hands of Logan Paul.
AJ Styles returned to WWE television back in October, where he unfortunately suffered an injury during his return match against Carmelo Hayes.
AJ made his return to television during last night’s Royal Rumble match, where he entered at number 21, before eventually going on to be eliminated by Logan Paul.
Speaking to Cathy Kelley after the match in a WWE digital exclusive, AJ was asked about being eliminated by Logan Paul in the match.
He said:
“I’ll never live that down, getting eliminated by Logan Paul. At least I’m not alone in the shame, but you know what? I got out there and I did what I needed to do. I stayed long there, was in there with the big dogs, and I held my ground.
“Unfortunately, I didn’t see the one coming behind me, who apparently jumped on the table, scaffold his way back over to the steps and caught me off guard.
“But this is the WWE. You will lose. You will win. Accept it. Move on. Next Big Thing.”
AJ originally made his WWE debut in the 2016 Royal Rumble match.
