AJ Styles Reveals The WWE Legend He Wants To Work With Most

It is WrestleMania season, so it is the time of year when AJ Styles shoots his shot for a WWE legend to face at the Show of Shows.

Over the past few years, Styles has called out or faced such iconic stars as The Undertaker and Triple H. The Phenomenal One is looking to add another former world champion to this list.

Speaking with Ariel Helwani of BT Sports, the former WWE Champion talked about his desire to work with WWE Hall of Famer Edge.

Styles stated:

“He’s so knowledgeable. He’s such a superstar. I would love to get the opportunity to get in the ring with him. There was that time when I thought there would never be an opportunity to wrestle him, and now, it’s here. The time is limited in which we can pull it off.

Whether he or I retire first, who knows, but I want to get that match. I desperately want to get that match. I think it’s the one that most fans would enjoy.”

As previously noted, WWE has talked about an Edge vs. AJ Styles matchup for WrestleMania 38 in Dallas this year. However, nothing is confirmed as of yet.

When asked if he had spoken to Edge about the dream match, Styles answered:

“Yes. The feeling is mutual. We just have to make it happen.”

AJ Styles will look to punch his ticket for WrestleMania at the Elimination Chamber 2022 event.

AJ will compete in the WWE Title Elimination Chamber Match against Bobby Lashley, Seth Rollins, Austin Theory, Riddle and Brock Lesnar at this Saturday’s event from Saudi Arabia.
