AJ Styles Reveals Who His Favourite Opponent Is

AJ Styles was a guest on WWE Backstage last night. Amidst the buildup of his WrestleMania match with The Undertaker, he took the time to answer questions from Twitter.

One such question was who his favourite opponent is from his career. In a career filled with fantastic performances, Styles favourite opponent is none other than John Cena.

“I would say John Cena is definitely up there. We just match well together, I mean him and I are nothing alike. Definitely our styles are totally different. It definitely is a styles class but it totally works out.”

Styles and Cena had a fantastic rivalry in 2016-2017. Styles’ win over Cena at SummerSlam 2016 launched him to main event status and he won the WWE Championship soon after. Their best match together happened at the Royal Rumble in 2017 where Cena won the title from the ‘Phenomenal One’.

Styles named that match as one of the favourites in his career later in the video.
