AJ Styles Super Show Down Opponent Revealed?

It is being reported that AJ Styles’ opponent for Super Showdown on June 7 in Saudi Arabia could be none other than Baron Corbin.

As you can see in the below video, the two men shared a less than friendly chat on this week’s episode of Raw.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer mentioned that Corbin is currently the most likely person to be facing AJ Styles, which would add to the speculation that Corbin is being set up for a Universal Championship match down the line.

Styles lost to current Champion Seth Rollins at Money in the Bank, so Corbin could, if he beats Styles, use that as momentum to challenge Seth in the future.

The Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia is currently advertising that Corbin will take on Seth Rollins in a table match for the belt at Extreme Rules in July.

Also being advertised for this show is: Kofi Kingston vs. Kevin Owens vs. Dolph Ziggler for the WWE title, Roman Reigns vs. Shane McMahon & Drew McIntyre, and AJ Styles vs. a mystery opponent.
