AJ Styles provided another major update on his WWE retirement at a live event today in Melbourne, Australia.
Styles picked up a win in a match against El Grande Americano on the show, which Styles believes will be his last time wrestling in Australia.
Speaking to the crowd in an in-ring promo after the match, he said:
“I just wanna thank you guys for cheering and being some of the best fans in the world.
“But here’s the truth – I’m probably not gonna see you again in a singlet like this anymore.
“So I just wanted you to know, from the bottom of my heart, thank you very much.”

AJ Styles has now said numerous times – including on WWE programming – that he will be retiring from in-ring action in 2026.
He’s said that he will likely stay with the company in another capacity, potentially as a trainer for NXT.
WWE heads to Japan for live events this weekend, and Styles has said it will likely be his last time wrestling there as well.
