Night one of the WWE Draft promised not only major main roster stars to be shifted from brand to brand but also a selection of choice NXT call-ups.
While it took a while to get around to the NXT picks, Monday Night Raw managed to snag NXT Women’s Champion Indi Hartwell while Smackdown nabbed both of the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn.
In reaction to the career-changing night, the two Scots would post to social media ahead of their main roster transition.
Fyre tweeted:
“Hi #SmackDown”
Dawn reacted:
“Oh hello Smackdown”
A polite greeting from both stars was in contrast to their Instagram post where Fyre would post an image of the pair with the caption:
“Damned to hell because we earned it 🔥😈
#UNHOLYUNION #WWENXT #WWE”
While Dawn and Fyre are set for a fresh start on the blue brand following WWE Backlash on May 6, they will first have to defend their NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships against former champs Katana Chance and Kayden Carter on Tuesday’s NXT (May 2).
