Former WWE star Alberto Del Rio (real name José Alberto Rodriguez Chucuan) has reportedly landed a new role with UFC.
Per Lucha Libre Online, Rodriguez is set to join the Spanish commentary team this Saturday (March 19) for UFC Fight Night in London.
Rodriguez previously fought and commentated for MMA company Combate Global. Rodriguez has since filed a lawsuit against Combate Global, which you can read more about right here.
Sexual assault and kidnapping charges against Del Rio from his arrest in May 2020 were dropped in December 2021, and the case was closed with no further action.
Per Sportskeeda, Rodriguez has signed a short-term deal, with a long-term offer potentially on the cards.
