Alberto El Patron PULLS OUT Of TripleMania XXVI

AAA has recently announced a stacked card for TripleMania XXVI. Notable names such as Pentagon Jr., Fenix, Brian Cage, and Jack Evans will be taking part at the huge event, which is sure to be an exciting night in wrestling for the AAA promotion.

However, what’s also notable is the lack of Alberto El Patron on the card. AAA made an announcement that El Patron would be facing Eli Drake at TripleMania this year, but according to El Patron’s management, the former WWE Champion is pulling out due to Dorian Roldan and AAA not paying him his deposit beforehand and that they did not come to terms.

El Patron has been fairly quiet in the wrestling world – well, except the bar brawl lawsuit – since his release in April from Impact Wrestling due to “shockingly” no showing a cross-promotional event for the company. As such, Patron is garnering somewhat of a reputation for no-showing events.

Despite El Patron’s absence from AAA’s TripleMania XXVI, the show will go on and you can watch it on AAA‘s Twitch channel, which will have English commentary by Matt Striker and Vampiro.
