WWE star Alexa Bliss believes “it’s been four years too long” since she’s been a singles champion.
Alexa Bliss has been teaming up with Asuka as of late with the duo competing in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament.
Bliss and Asuka came up short in their bid for the gold against Dakota Kai and IYO SKY, who moved on to the finals on the August 22 edition of Raw.
Speaking with CricketNet, the WWE star was asked if she plans on shifting her focus to singles titles following her loss.
Bliss said:
“100%. First and foremost, Asuka and I are going to work to become Women’s Tag Team Champions. If that doesn’t work out, 100%. It’s been four years since I’ve had a singles title, and it’s been four years too long,”
Alexa Bliss hasn’t held singles gold in WWE since losing the Raw Women’s Championship to Ronda Rousey at SummerSlam 2018.
However, Bliss is a two-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion with Nikki A.S.H.
The former five-time WWE Women’s Champion will team with Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair and Asuka to face Bayley, Dakota Kai and IYO SKY at Clash At The Castle on September 3.
