Alexa Bliss Defends Gimmick Changes: ‘I Get Very Bored’ WWE

A WWE star has defended their gimmick changes throughout their run with the company in a new interview.

Alexa Bliss recently returned to television on the May 9 edition of WWE Raw after several months away despite a brief comeback at Elimination Chamber earlier this year.

With her return, Bliss has went back to more of her original persona, but she was very popular as a female version of Bray Wyatt’s Fiend character prior to her absence.

Speaking with The Residency Podcast, the five-time Raw Women’s Champion discussed her character and how it has evolved over the years.

In regards to the character changes, she said:

“I love evolving. I don’t like getting comfortable with one character. I like to always keep moving and keep changing and keep evolving. Mentally, I get very bored. I love the unknown. I love not knowing what I’m doing tomorrow.”

Bliss continued on to discuss how much creative freedom she has with her character, saying:

“Depends. It depends on where the story goes. The character itself, pretty free, it just depends on where the story goes. You have to adapt. You have to tell a story.”

Alexa Bliss qualified for the upcoming Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match with a tag team victory alongside Liv Morgan over Nikki A.S.H. and Doudrop on this past Monday’s Raw.
