On tonight’s episode of WWE Raw, Alexa Bliss hosted her “talk show”, if you can call it that, A Moment Of Bliss, in which a whole bunch of women came out and acted like little girls instead of legitimate fighters. But luckily, there was something good to come out of it.
After the other women had brawled away, Bliss announced that she would be returning to the ring this Sunday at the Royal Rumble, and would be competing in the Royal Rumble match itself.
Alexa Bliss had been out of the ring since the end of October, where she reportedly suffered multiple concussions at a house show event. While she has maintained an on-screen character, she hadn’t been cleared to return to the ring.
Rumors circulated that Bliss may even have to retire from in-ring competition entirely, and she was apparently being groomed to take over the role of Raw General Manager before the position was scrapped during the announcement of the ‘New Era’ that is definitely still happening.
This is great news not just for Bliss, but for the WWE and its fans, as the women’s division on Raw had been growing increasingly stale and uninspiring. Hopefully this is the kickstart the division needs to get back on track.
