Despite being six days away from a SmackDown Women’s Championship match against Bayley at Extreme Rules, Alexa Bliss is not backstage at Raw tonight, according to WrestlingInc.
The reason for Bliss’ absence is due to her recovering from an illness. She was also pulled from a Connor’s Cure fundraiser this morning and replaced by Nikki Cross.
Braun Strowman was also pulled from the same appearance, but that was to sell the storyline injuries he sustained during last week’s stage explosion angle on Raw. He was replaced by everyone’s favorite wrestler Baron Corbin.
It is expected Bliss will recover and still face Bayley this Sunday.

- Street Profits
- Maria & Mike Kanellis
