Alexa Bliss Reveals Bray Wyatt Gave Her Blessing To ‘Keep It Alive’ WWE

Alexa Bliss has revealed what a former WWE star told her before they left.

In 2020, Alexa Bliss and Bray Wyatt formed an unholy alliance that turned Bliss into “The Fiendess” to partner with The Fiend. The pair feuded with Randy Orton at the tail end of 2020 into 2021.

Bliss turned on The Fiend, costing Wyatt his bout against Randy Orton at WrestleMania 37. This turned out to be Wyatt’s final match in WWE as he was taken off television and eventually released in July 2021.

Speaking to Alistair McGeorge of Metro, the WWE star recalled what Bray Wyatt said to her prior to his release.

Bliss revealed:

“Before he left, he just said, ‘Keep it alive, keep it going,’ so I took that to heart and tried to keep it alive and going. If he ever did return, a hundred percent I’d want to work with him.”

Alexa Bliss went on to praise Bray Wyatt, saying:

“He is a creative genius in every sense of the word. He made me step up my game. He obviously helped a lot with the Dark Alexa character I had to take that and evolve it into its own entity, and put my own spin on things. Everyone wanted to work with Windham, he’s just so good and so creatively genius. He put so much effort into his craft, and for me it was, how do I create something alongside him without lowering his integrity, lowering his character, lowering his stuff? Because you have to try to rise to the occasion instead of bringing the other person down to match your level I really tried in that sense to at least do his character justice… He’s the best!”

The five-time WWE Women’s Champion remained in the supernatural character until WWE Extreme Rules 2021 when she lost to Charlotte Flair, who ripped up her Lilly doll.

This led to Alexa Bliss being written off television for months before returning in therapy session vignettes ahead of Elimination Chamber in February 2022.

Bliss also appeared on Out Of Character where she further discussed her time working with Bray Wyatt, calling it the most fun she’s ever had.
