Alexander Wolfe Makes NXT UK Debut As Part Of New Stable

It was speculated when former NXT Tag Team Champion Alexander Wolfe said “goodbye” to WWE on Twitter that the Smackdown star was on his way out of the company. However, others reported that he was actually just going back down to NXT.

However, Wolfe was backstage at last night’s NXT UK TV tapings in Glasgow, and this led to speculation that the former SAnitY member was going to spend some time with NXT UK.

After the second night of Glasgow tapings, WWE have taken to their Twitter to confirm that Alexander Wolfe appeared. Although they are saying that his appearance was “unannounced”, this pretty much confirms that the Smackdown star will now be a permanent figure on the still relatively new brand.

WWE’s article does not say how Wolfe made his debut. However, WrestleTalk’s live spoilers for tonight’s set of NXT UK TV tapings revealed that Wolfe interfered in a six-man tag team match between Tyler Bate, Trent Seven and Pete Dunne (British Strong Style) and the new faction Imperium consisting of WALTER, Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel.

Aichner and Barthel helped WALTER retain his WWE United Kingdom Championship against Dunne at last night’s tapings, and the trio later confirmed that they are now a group. Wolfe’s attack on Bate in the tag match cemented his place the fourth member of WWE’s version of Ringkampf.
