It was announced on SmackDown last night that Ali would be a member of Team Hogan at WWE Crown Jewel for the five-on-five tag match against Team Flair.
Ali has since taken to Twitter to react to his inclusion, and his response was certainly an interesting one:
A real American…and Hulk Hogan. I’ve been added to Team Hogan on 10/31 at Crown Jewel. pic.twitter.com/nXaLO5zCjz

Ali’s message is one of inclusion and anti-discrimination, and his entire mission is to rid the world of the stigmas surrounding people of different backgrounds.
Couple that with Hogan’s controversial past, which has included the use of racist language on record that resulted in him being removed from the WWE Hall of Fame for a number of years, and… you kind of see where Ali is going here.
Either way, he joins new captain Roman Reigns, Ricochet, Rusev and Shorty G on Hogan’s team. Flair’s at this point is made up of captain Randy Orton, King Corbin, Bobby Lashley and Shinsuke Nakamura, with one still to be added.
