It also seemed like an inevitability but All Elite Wrestling has announced their latest signing. After appearing on AEW Dark and Dynamite for the last two months, Will Hobbs has officially been signed by the promotion.
AEW made the announcement on Twitter earlier today.

The announcement should not come as a surprise as he has clearly impressed the higher ups at AEW. Hobbs recently appeared at All Out in the Casino Battle Royale, taking one of the unfilled spots. He did well in the match, eliminating The Blade before being eliminated near the end by Lance Archer.
Hobbs made his AEW debut on the July 1 episode of Dark, losing to Orange Cassidy. Since then he was mostly used as an enhancement talent, most notably losing to Darby Allin on Dynamite. However, he also managed to pick up a win over Sean Legacy on the September 5 episode of Dark. If his appearance at All Out was enough of a sign, winning matches is a good indication that Hobbs was getting over.
All Elite Wrestling is continuing to grow their roster, now with another independent talent joining the company. What he will do next, well, we will have to wait and see.
