Major Announcement Set For WWE Payback 2023?

A SmackDown star has teased that he’ll make a major announcement at WWE Payback 2023 in Pittsburgh, PA.

Grayson Waller, who is set to premiere the first ever Premium Live Event version of the Grayson Waller Effect talk show at Payback, has taken to Twitter to tease an ‘all-time scoop’ during the segment.

Waller tweeted:

It pays to keep my ear to the ground, because I have an all time scoop on the Grayson Waller Effect tomorrow #GWEffect

Waller is slated to interview WWE Raw star Cody Rhodes in the segment.

Waller’s tease has fuelled speculation about the American Nightmare’s next more, especially after a recent report indicating that a major Cody Rhodes match has been discussed.

The September 2 premium live event will also feature John Cena, who will serve as the host of the event.

While Cena was originally just advertised for eight SmackDown’s between now and the end of October as well as the Superstar Spectacle show in India on September 8, an update emerged stating that Cena could also be involved at WWE’s next PLE Fastlane on October 7.
