Andrade El Idolo & Buddy Matthews React To Charlotte Flair & Rhea Ripley On WWE SmackDown

Andrade El Idolo and Buddy Matthews have reacted to a WWE SmackDown segment involving their respective partners, Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley.

On WWE TV, Dominik Mysterio affectionately refers to Rhea Ripley as his ‘Mami’.

On the February 24 episode of SmackDown, Charlotte Flair told Dominik that she has a real Latino man at home that calls her Mami, although with a much thicker… accent.

Many picked up that this was a reference to her husband Andrade El Idolo, who is currently signed to AEW.

Also signed to AEW is Rhea Ripley’s partner, Buddy Matthews, who took to Twitter following the segment to note:

Mami has a Real Papi also! 😉

Andrade El Idolo had a simple response to this – a middle finger emoji.

Both stars will have their eyes on the SmackDown Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania 39, with Royal Rumble winner Rhea Ripley set to challenge for Charlotte Flair’s gold.

Matthews most recently wrestled for AEW on the January 25 edition of Dynamite, facing off against Darby Allin.

The Mexican star is currently recovering from surgery to fix a torn pectoral muscle injury he suffered during his match in the opening round of the AEW Trios Championship tournament in August 2022. For the latest update on Andrade El Idolo, click here.
