Andrade El Idolo Turns On Dragon Lee As AEW Dynamite Went Off Air AEW

Andrade El Idolo apparently did not respond well to losing in the trios tournament, immediately after the bell turning on Dragon Lee!

With the excitement surrounding Kenny Omega’s return and the Elite as the first team to advance in the AEW Trios Tournament, a major storyline development was also occurring.

After the bell of the trios match, with cameras somewhat focusing on the Elite celebrating on the ramp, it quickly cut back to Andrade still in the ring, delivering a vicious blow to Dragon Lee as RUSH and Jose the Assistant watched on in apparent support of the betrayal.

During the spot, Dragon Lee’s mask came off which seemed to see the camera then cut back to the Elite on the ramp with somewhat shocked looks on the faces of Kenny Omega and Nick Jackson who fled off camera back towards the ring.

Some fan controversy broke out on Twitter regarding whether or not the unmasking was intentional or not with some fans noting they thought they saw the mask being loosened in advance of the spot while scoop meister Sean Ross Sapp amongst others viewed it as accidental.
