Wrestling last at AEW’s All Out back in September 2022 Andrade El Idolo has been the subject of a ton of speculation in the eight months since his last match.
While this lengthy absence has been due to a torn pectoral injury the 33-year-old’s AEW future has often been in the balance, particularly following his suspension for a reported backstage altercation with Sammy Guevara back in October 2022.
However, despite often seeming unlikely could Andrade have dropped a hint that he could be heading back to AEW in the near future?
Posting to his Twitter, Andrade has potentially hinted at a pair of future opponents and they both happen to also be under AEW contract, those being ‘Jungle Boy’ Jack Perry and Hook.
Despite this seemingly suggesting an unlikely return for Andrade, there has been plenty of potential ‘evidence’ recently that his future may lie elsewhere.
Andrade recently posted a series of photos and videos of himself backstage at WWE’s WrestleMania 39 accompanying his wife Charlotte Flair who competed against Rhea Ripley at night one of the event.
As well as this, he would also recently state that his AEW contract was set to expire ‘soon’, with a return to WWE perhaps a potential option considering his wife Charlotte is such an institution in the company.
2 talents with a great future. @boy_myth_legend @730hook Hopefully in the future we will see each other in a ring as a parther and rivals…. good luck Chicos!!! pic.twitter.com/nR2p7VduDV
