With reports that Andrade el Idolo will be wrapping up his time with AEW, AEW Worlds End may have been his last match in the company.
Making his ring entrance along with his manager CJ Perry, it was possibly Andrade el Idolo’s last match in the company at AEW Worlds End.
As reported earlier, sources confirmed to Fightful Select that other reports from the likes of PWInsider and WrestlePurists were accurate.
According to the report, Andrade el Idolo and All Elite Wrestling are set to part ways after the AEW Worlds End event.
With ‘numerous’ sources indicating that Andrade ‘made it clear this past Wednesday at Dynamite that he no longer wanted to be with the company,’ and planned to leave.
The report describes the ‘situation surrounding Andrade’s exit’ was ‘less than pleasant’ with others going as so far as to say that a ‘major disagreement had unfolded’, setting the stage for the departure.
In the end of the match, Andrade tapped out to Miro’s finishing submission move to end the match.
CJ Perry and her husband, Miro left together.
Elsewhere still to come on AEW Worlds End, MJF will defend the AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe.
