After rumors of wanting to go back to WWE, is Andrade El Idolo actually being written out of AEW on next week’s live edition of AEW Rampage?
On next week’s edition of AEW Rampage, there will be a match with a big stipulation between the Dark Order’s “10” Preston Vance against Andrade El Idolo.
While La Faccion Ingobernable continues to ruthlessly recruit 10 from the Dark Order, finally a challenge was laid out.
10 will put his mask on the line in a match but if he wins, Andrade El Idolo has to leave AEW forever.
To end the backstage segment, Stokely Hathaway approached and made reference to apparent “contract tampering” occurring between Matt Hardy and Private Party and encourage El Idolo to get his house in order.
While tonight’s main event of AEW Rampage saw another match up in a similar vein with John Silver taking on RUSH with Alex Reynolds and Andrade El Idolo at ringside respectively.
After RUSH picked up the victory and the faccion went on to start a beat down on Dark Order, they didn’t have the advantage for long as soon Hangman Adam Page cleared house.
Then announced for AEW Dynamite, Hangman Adam Page will take on RUSH in what is sure to be a hard hitting affair.
Leaning in to rumors that perhaps Andrade El Idolo is disgruntled in AEW and seeks to return to WWE, the storyline is a brilliant way to capitalize on the backstage buzz to generate interest.
AEW Rampage will be a live edition next week as confirmed on Twitter by Tony Khan.
