It has been a few weeks since Andrade was released by WWE on March 21. While he has yet to make his first post-WWE appearance, that may not be the case for long.
A new report from Fightful Select (subscription required) has stated that Andrade has been contacted about wrestling over WrestleMania weekend. However, it was not specified which companies had made contact. It was also not mentioned whether or not the deal had been accepted.
Many of the top independent wrestling promotions are running shows in the Tampa area this weekend in response to WrestleMania.
Andrade has also been challenged by NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis recently. However, that match has also not been followed up on.
We will continue to provide updates on the status of Andrade as more details become available.
