Despite only being granted his release from the company less than two weeks ago, Andrade has teased that we may not have seen the last of him in WWE.
Speaking with the media after his release, Andrade noted that he still wants to become WWE Champion, suggesting that he isn’t closed off to an eventual return to WWE in the future.
The media call was conducted in Spanish, but Fightful has provided the following summary from the interview, noting that Andrade said he may follow a similar path to Drew McIntyre in returning to WWE:
Andrade did note that he still has goals he would like to accomplish in WWE, specifically becoming WWE Champion, and cited Drew McIntyre’s path as one he could follow.
During the same media call, Andrade explained why he turned down the chance to return to NXT after asking higher-ups for his release from the company. You can read more about that by clicking here.
