There has been an update on WWE’s creative plans for Andrade following his return to the company at the Royal Rumble.
Former United States Champion Andrade made his return to the company at the Royal Rumble, where he entered the match at number 4.
On the following episode of Raw, Andrade officially signed with the Raw brand, and there has been an update on his future on the brand.
Per PWInsider Elite (via WrestlePurists), the plan is for Andrade to be a babyface on the Raw roster going forward.
Andrade had been a heel for his entire previous main roster run, only serving as a babyface when he first arrived in NXT back in 2016.
Numerous big signings have been signing with Raw and SmackDown in recent weeks, with Naomi and Tiffany Stratton joining SmackDown on last week’s show.
Tonight’s WWE Raw show will see Cody Rhodes take on Shinsuke Nakamura in a Bullrope match, as well as a four-way tag team match to determine the next challengers for the Judgment Day.
Gunther is also set to celebrate 600 days as the Intercontinental Champion on tonight’s show.
