Andre Documentary Sets GIANT Record!

He may have passed away in 1993, but Andre the Giant is an everlasting figure in professional wrestling. In many ways, he’s the industry’s heart and soul, which is why there was so much hullabaloo surrounding the release of his HBO documentary.

Now, several months later, the Hollywood Reporter has noted that the film covering the life of the ‘Eighth Wonder of the World’ has quickly become the most watched documentary in the history of HBO Sports. Impressively, the life of wrestling’s largest athlete has, as of today, attracted close to seven million viewers across all of the network’s platforms.

Now all that’s left is for HBO to ship the film worldwide so those who cannot obtain the channel, its platforms, or find the film online can see what the world is praising. Your writer is certainly hoping for a Netflix release.
