Andrew Schulz Shares Cody Rhodes Street Fighter Movie Tease

WWE

Famous comedian and actor Andrew Schulz has shared a teaser for Cody Rhodes’ appearance in the upcoming Street Fighter movie.

The current Undisputed WWE Champion is set to play the role of Guile in the Sony Pictures distributed movie, which is set for a release in theaters on March 20, 2026.

With production reportedly planned to get underway on September 2, there has been no official footage or images released of the cast in their roles for the movie as of yet. However, Andrew Schulz has today taken to Instagram to share a teaser of Cody Rhodes’ appearance in the movie.

In the image shared to Schulz’s Instagram Stories, a Guile shaped silhouette, complete with his trademark flat top hair style, can be seen.

Schulz’s post also features Cody Rhodes’ WWE entrance theme ‘Kingdom’ by Downstait, leaving little doubt that the shadow belongs to “The American Nightmare”.

Taking inspiration from the famous game series, Schulz also wrote:

“A new warrior has entered”

Schulz is also set for a role in the movie, playing the part of wannabe martial artist Dan Hibiki, while Cody Rhodes’ long-time WWE rival Roman Reigns is set to play the role of Akuma in the film.

It was previously reported that Reigns and Rhodes were set to take some time off to film their roles in Street Fighter, with Rhodes not expected to be on set for as long as “The OTC”.

Both Roman and Cody were absent from this week’s Raw and SmackDown respectively, however, Reigns has been confirmed to be appearing at WWE Clash in Paris on August 31.
