Intercontinental Champion Ricochet seems like he will be on WrestleMania after all, as two contender’s for his championship were crowned on tonight’s (March 25) SmackDown.
On the show, Ricochet took on Angel in a Championship Contender’s match, which Angel won thanks to a distraction from Humberto.
Ricochet then challenged Humberto to a match right after, which Humberto won by countout when Angel prevented Ricochet from getting back into the ring.
It was not announced if the match will be taking place at WrestleMania, or if this will result in more contender’s emerging, but that would be the most likely destination at this point.
