AEW
Another AEW star has departed the company due to their contract expiring following the recent departure of Rey Fenix.
Former AEW World Tag Team Champion Rey Fenix’s departure from AEW was announced last night, with him being released from the company following his recent requests.
Fenix’s departure came following a number of other departures, including Ricky Starks, Miro, Malakai Black and Leyla Hirsch, and now another departure has been confirmed.
Per PWInsider, Zak Knight is also no longer with AEW, with the word being that his deal recently expired with the company.
Knight is the brother of fellow AEW star Saraya, and he had been primarily featured on Ring of Honor programming following his arrival in the company, as well as previously wrestling on Rampage.
Knight last appeared for AEW back in June 2024, with him working a dark match.
Knight’s sister Saraya signed a one year contract extension with AEW back in September last year.
