All Elite Wrestling star Griff Garrison has signed a deal with the promotion.
The news was reported by Fightful Select (subscription required) who stated that AEW sources have confirmed Garrison’s deal to them. It was also stated that he was on a tiered deal prior to signing his new contract.
The news comes shortly after Fightful reported the full-time signing of Brian Pillman Jr. Pillman and Garrison have been used as a team in recent months, competing as the Varsity Blonds.
Fightful’s report also notes that AEW sources told them they wanted to keep Pillman and Garrison’s deals matched up in terms of dates. However, it was a “foregone conclusion” in AEW that both would end up with full-time deals.
Griff Garrison made his first appearance on AEW Dynamite in July 2020, losing a squash match to MJF.
UPDATE: This signing has since been officially announced by AEW on Twitter.
