Another inductee into the celebrity wing of the WWE Hall of Fame for this year has now been confirmed following some speculation.
Despite not being announced officially by WWE, Ozzy Osbourne was shown briefly in a Hall of Fame video package that aired during this past Friday’s episode of SmackDown.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer now reports that Osbourne will indeed be inducted this year.
Osbourne was reportedly not at the ceremony in person, but will appear on the show via a video message to accept his induction.
Technically, Osbourne will be the 2021 celebrity inductee with William Shatner being the 2020 celebrity inductee.
The Hall of Fame ceremony was taped last week and will air tomorrow, Tuesday, April 6.
